Critiques and detractors:

There are a considerable number of Evangelicals who would disagree with this interpretation and applications of this excellent and outstanding prophesy.  This group is referred to as: Dispensational Premillennial Rapturists.  These contend that this refers to a time after the coming resurrection of all creation.  However, Christ is our witness that this is not possible.  In his arguments with the sect of the Sadducees, when they challenged him with the proposal that seven brothers in sequence, married the same women, in keeping with the Jewish law, that a brother should marry the wife of his deceased brother if they had no children.

The Sadducees, presented the argument, that since all seven brothers had married her and none of them had children, to whom would she be given as a wife in the resurrection.  Christ, laughing, I’m sure, replied that they did not know the scriptures and that in the resurrection there is no marriage or giving in marriage.  Therefore, we see the shallowness of their argument, as Isaiah clearly states that in this future time in the Kingdom of Christ women will be married and give birth to consistently healthy babies.
