Bio Summary:
Herb comes from the Midwest, born in Kirksville, MO and raised in Kansas City. His family moved to the Ozark Mountain town of Groves Spring, MO, while he was not yet a teenager.
Family:
After a four year tour of duty with the Naval Air Force, Herb married his childhood sweetheart, Marilyn Jean Jones and the couple now have six children, five girls, Jennifer, Stephanie, Melissa, Robin, Lorena, and one son, David plus a growing number of grandchildren.
The Hatfield’s have had many great experiences to date, living in Mexico for several years as missionaries, raising a large family, developing a successful accounting and business consulting company now serving many great clients, to mention a few. They continue their saga of interests and activities from their central location of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.
Education:
Herb used his veteran’s benefits to continue his education. During the course of several years he accumulated over 200 hours of completed university work in three major areas:Science Business Computer Systems
In addition to these areas of study, Herb continued his interest in aviation and has used his flying experience (CFII) to log over 2,000 hours as a private pilot in business travel and aviation consulting.
Herb attended the Wharton School of Business special classes for CEO’s and also received three years of training in sales, relationship marketing, management and human resource building with Owens Institute of America.
Experience:
In the school of practical experience Herb has had the privilege to work with securities firms, securities attorney's and Big 8 Accounting firms in the design and development of business plans, for private and public offerings, and continues to do research and to have a great interest in the field of capital acquisition.
In the last ten years Herb has been very active in the IT software services for accounting, IRS remediation and E-Business applications, from small to medium sized companies. The success of this effort has been to have long-term relationships with many companies of diverse markets and size. The basis of this service is a broad knowledge in IT solutions to accounting, IRS remediation consulting and E-Business for any business that has not yet crossed into the future of business and is still living in the past.
These experiences prompted Herb to write the book: "Job Security In a High Tech World." Although this book never made the best seller lists it has been successful and a great tool for introducing many of the basic high-tech business realities of today, with which most business people continue to struggle. |
